The Worst Thing Trump Did on 3/6/25

A lot of people are pointing out that the Republicans, terrified of having to either 1) condemn Trump for his cold, heartless, and meanspirited cuts to needed government programs, knowing the "Murder them All" MAGA wont take kindly to them attacking their TrumpGod, or 2) defend hurting pretty much everyone in their district for the sake of more tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires, are running away from hosting town hall meetings, insiting WITHOUT ANY EVIDECNE the people demanding answers are actually Democratic plants. 

It's hard to tell the public that the health care of over 80 million people is LESS IMPORTANT than another tax break for the 23,500 households in America who make 10 million dollars a year or more. 

AND THAT'S JUST THE MEDICAID CUTS!!!

Trump's team is trying out a new strategy: belligerence! 

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent made the laughable statement that no one in America should expect cheap, affordable prices on goods. This seems to contradict a year's worth of Trump campaign promises of "Cheaper Everything," something that has yet to materialize.  This is Bessent basically saying it's America's patriotic duty to pay more for maple syrup to justify their boneheaded, rookie-hour trade war.

As far as all the job losses impacting the economy, former Trump Advisor Matt Mowers insisted that EVERYONE should be happy and cheering the massive government layoffs, including all the Trump voters who have lost their jobs too! That is some Kool-Aid drinking!

But the craziest one came from Trump's toadie Senator John Kennedy from Louisiana, who referred to the people (INCLUDING VETERANS) complaining about losing the healthcare, social security, food assistance, shelter, and other functioning government entities (like FAA, National Parks, Kennedy Center) as "squealing pigs" "The tofu crowd is mad, but you know, when you trim fat pigs squeal."

Putting aside the fact that the tofu crowd generally doesn't eat animal fat (his attempted insult contradicts itself), this guy basically stated he sleeps peacefully at night to the screams of pain from the needy in this country, INCLUDING VETERANS!
