The Worst Thing Trump did on 3/22/25

Trump's unrestricted march towards authoritarianism continues, as now he's actively silencing any law firm that might challenge his agenda in court.

Trump has been targeting certain law firms with executive orders, basically saying they're forbidden from entering federal courthouses, mainly because they had a partner of a former staff member who aided in the prosecution of Trump in the past FOR HIS MANY CRIMES.

One law firm, Perkins Coie, did exactly what you should do, go tell Trump to F- himself.

Unfortunately, on Friday, the law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison folded like a cheap suit. They threw their former partner under the bus, claiming prosecuting Trump was actually misconduct (it wasn't).  They also agreed to other concessions to Trump and promised to get rid of DEI programs, this at a law firm that had a major history of leading the charge into equity in the workplace.  Not anymore.  For the record, how can ANYONE trust Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison to represent them from here on out?  It appears they'd sell you out as a client if Trump demanded it.

Fresh with the taste of the bowing of the one firm, Trump has now ordered the most unqualified AG in History, Pam Bondi, and the goat murderer herself, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi 'Incompetent Boob' Noem, to use all means necessary to persecute any lawyer the Administration has deemed to have 'abused the legal system and the Federal Court.'

The Trump administration has told all of the established law firms to "HEEL(!)" while creating an outright threat to any other lawyer:  'Even think of prosecuting this wildly out of control administration, and we will punish you.'

And Republicans are silent.
