The Worst Thing Trump Did on 6/2/25

Trump's director of FEMA, David Richardson, stunned his staff when he claimed he was unaware that the term 'Hurricane Season' actually referred to a specific timeline of when hurricanes typically hit the United States, generally between June and November.

The head of FEMA wasn't aware of the primary timeline threat of hurricanes, one of the most consistent, deadly, and costly natural disasters that hit the United States EVERY YEAR!

A FEMA spokesperson insisted that Richardson was making a joke (???), but Richardson was hired with ZERO Emergency Management experience.  He claims his resume as a Marine artillery officer qualifies him to run FEMA.  It doesn't.

It's also a real problem that many members of FEMA upper management have either left the agency or been fired, and reductions in FEMA staff have left the agency ill-prepared to deal with a major natural disaster, IF TRUMP EVEN SENDS IN FEMA!!!
