President Trump, Week 47

Here's this week's list of incompetence coming from President Trump and his White House for the week beginning Monday, December 4th to Sunday, December 10th.  This is likely not all of the Trump team's transgressions, but it's most of them.

The disclaimer:  if the letter next to the President's name was 'D' instead of 'R', everything on this list would've warranted a stern and/or mocking press conference from the Republicans.  Many of these infractions would've triggered Congressional reviews and committee hearings, and a few would've lead to impeachment proceedings.  Instead, the GOP is failing horrifically at their job of oversight, something they are tasked with in the Constitution.  For goodness sake, mall security in Alabama takes their job more seriously than Congressional Republicans do.

With all the holiday memes, let me say the point of this is not some indoctrination effort.  My religious disclaimer:  You do or don't do whatever it is you do or don't want to do!  Cool?

Put on the Christmas music (you'll need an hour at least) and let's begin!

  • As Trump prepares to go to Utah and shrink two of their National Monuments for mining and drilling purposes, protesters build a makeshift message on the ground outside of the Utah Capitol: "Trump Go Home"
  • The law would not be on Trump's side if he argued his tweet where he admitted Obstruction of Justice was actually written by one of his lawyers, because it is exactly like the rest of his tweets
  • Many past and current Administration members from both parties lash out at Trump's weekend allegation the FBI is in tatters
  • Defense Secretary Jim Mattis is in Pakistan as he's imploring their leaders to try to help stop the open flow of militants who are crossing over the border with Afghanistan, making a strike, fleeing back over the border, and hence making Trump's strategy in Afghanistan unsuccessful
  • Republicans and Democrats are warning Trump in the aftermath of his 'admission' tweets and attacks, reminding him there is an ongoing investigation
  • Trump began Monday by officially endorsing alleged pedophile Roy Moore in Alabama.  He listed off things he'll guarantee Moore would side with him on, verses "a Pelosi/Schumer Puppet!"  He wants HIS puppet instead, a man who allegedly sexually targets young girls
  • Trump's saber rattling has done it's job as North Korea states Trump is "begging for war"
  • It's official! Trump will indeed dramatically shrink the Bear Ears National Monument and the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument to allow for mining and oil drilling, activities which will forever ruin the land.  Trump also implies there are a total of 27 National Monuments he wants to remove or dramatically shrink, accusing former Presidents of over stepping their bounds by making the pristine wilderness off limits to mining and drilling
  • John Dowd, the White House Lawyer who was either stupid enough to write the Twitter tweet where Trump admitted Obstruction of Justice, or is stupid enough to try to take the blame for it, likely meaning he will be disbarred, now states Trump likely did know that Flynn had lied to the FBI when he fired former FBI Director James Comey.  I've never seen a more incompetent group of people in my life
  • Also, Dowd is now insisting Trump can't be prosecuted for Obstruction of Justice, as he's the top law enforcement in the country, hence immune from such charges.  Not sounding like a third world dictator at all!
  • Former Trump Campaign Manager, and man who is currently indicted, Paul Manafort, allegedly was begging Presidential Advisor and Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner to not fire him when the news of his secret Ukrainian millions came to light
  • Presidential Advisor and Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner is on the defensive, trying to defend his Middle East Peace team who were dressed down over the weekend by an Israeli journalist for being incompetent and unsuccessful in every measurable way.  Kushner's defense:  "it's not a conventional team, but it's a perfectly qualified team." Sure it is
  • Back when he was trying to build a casino in Atlantic City, Trump put on a big pro-FBI front to help fight the appearance of mob involvement.  Now Trump is calling the FBI a failed agency
  • Billy Bush, the former Access Hollywood reporter who was on the bus when Trump went on his wildly inappropriate "grab them by the p*ssy" tirade, lashed back at Trump after he stated he never said anything on the bus, that the tape is a forgery (a tape Trump himself acknowledged last year was real).  "You said that," stated Bush.  Bush went on to say he believes the women accusing Trump of sexual misconduct
  • Trump is apparently trying to woo Senator Orrin Hatch, 83, who's retiring at the end of his term, to run again.  He's not doing this to keep the seat away from the Democrats, as Utah is probably the safest Republican state in the country, but rather to keep fellow Republican Mitt Romney from getting the seat
  • Trump stopped before flying to Utah to insist Hillary Clinton lied to the FBI and was never held accountable.  For the record, there's no proof Hillary Clinton ever lied to the FBI. Trump's trying to convince idiots his personal opinion is fact
  • One of the people accusing Trump of sexual misconduct, Rachel Cooks, insist Trump must be held accountable for his actions.  Trump is accused of forcibly trying to kiss Cooks
  • Trump's tweet where he admitted Obstruction of Justice, the one his lawyer is desperately trying to take responsibility for, likely has exposed Pence, Sessions and Kushner to further legal issues
  • White House Spokeswoman Kellyanne Conway states since Flynn was only charged with lying to the FBI, there's nothing which proves the Trump team had anything to do with the Russians.  Well outside of the lie being about meeting with the Russians...
  • Trump today endorsed massive pervert, Roy Moore, accused child molester, to be the next Senator from Alabama
  • Trump blasted Elton John songs on his campaign plane, according to a behind the scenes book
  • Breaking his promise to not do business with foreign governments, AGAIN, Trump companies hired a construction company partially owned by the countries of Saudi Arabia and South Korea to build his latest resort in Indonesia
  • Trump called Roy Moore and offered up his full support to the accused child molester
  • White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is getting a less than subtle reminder of how online posts are forever.  On November 3rd of last year, she tweeted out "When you're attacking FBI agents because you're under criminal investigation, you're losing."  Trump recently attacked the FBI and it's agents in a temper tantrum about Flynn pleading guilty
  • Congressional Democrats have accepted an invite from Trump to meet to discuss year end budget issues.  No word if Trump plans on using the Apprentice technique again, stating the meeting would be pointless prior to the meeting
  • The US Supreme Court allowed Trump's latest toned down travel ban to go into effect, but is allowing the legal process in lower courts to play out before handing over their final ruling on the issue
  • White House Budget Chief and Trump installed acting Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Mick Mulvaney says he has no plans on firing the woman who is actually supposed to be the acting Director, Leandra English, who's trying to block Trump from taking over and destroying the agency
  • Trump's Admission tweet might even open the door into an Obstruction of Justice investigation into the firing of Acting Attorney General Sally Yates
  • There has been a five percent drop in Republican party affiliation since Trump took office
  • Patrick Murray, Trump's choice to assist Nikki Haley at the UN, is a big fan of racist Breitbart employee Milo Yiannopoulos, especially Milo's attacks on African Americans and Muslims
  • Apparently the Mormons has posthumously baptized Trump's grandparents and parents into the Mormon faith.  The grandparents were baptized in 2015 and 2016 and a data search of Trump's parents has them showing up in the Mormon FamilySearch website, suggesting they've been baptized too
  • Trump's former Campaign Manger, and man who has been indicted, Paul Manafort finally got bail, and immediately squandered it.  Special Council Robert Mueller wants his bail revoked after it was discovered Manafort was ghostwriting op-eds with a Russian linked to the Kremlin
  • Even though the op-ed was not finished, nor was the intended media outlet revealed, the op-ed was clearly an attempt to try to sway public opinion towards Manafort
  • Former Trump Transition team head, former Deputy National Security Advisor and current nominee to be Ambassador to Singapore KT McFarland is in big trouble.  In July she testified to Congress, under oath, she had no knowledge of contacts between former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and the Russians.  We know that's a lie, as e-mails released shows she was clearly aware of these contacts, and actually wrote about how the Russians handed Trump the election
  • As Trump gleefully guts two National Monuments in Utah, the decrease is exposed.  Bear Ears National Monument will be shrunk by 85%.  Grand Staircase-Escalante  will be cut in half.  These are the largest reductions in National Monuments ever.  Trump says this gives the land back to the public, but the public had the lands when they were National Monuments.  The public will not be welcomed on these lands when mining and drilling companies buy up all the rights and rip the countryside to shreds
  • Native American leaders are stating Trump's shrinking of the Bear Ears National Monument is a direct, illegal attack on Native American sovereignty.  Expect there to be a lawsuit
  • SWEET LORD!  Trump's average McDonald's meal consist of two Big Macs, two Filet O Fish and a chocolate shake, a minimum of 2,672 calories, and that's if the shake is a small.  The daily caloric intake for a 71 year old man is supposed to be 2,000 calories
  • Trump's tax bill is already in trouble as conservative Republicans in the House state many of the concessions Senate Republicans made to get the votes are non-starters in the US House
  • As Trump insists he had NOTHING to do with the Russians in 2016, Trump forced the RNC to abandon it's platform of arming the Ukrainian soldiers against the invading Russian forces.  GOP Delegate Diana Denman is scheduled to testify that Trump was the source of this concession
  • If the Trump team's defense is that Trump can't commit Obstruction of Justice, because he's the head of the country's law enforcement, they'll have to contradict Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who said unequivocally, during the Clinton Impeachment scandal, indeed Trump's office could be found guilty of Obstruction of Justice
  • Chris Wray, Trump's appointed FBI Director, defends the FBI, lauded his employees and said "It truly is an honor to represent you"
  • Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein says Trump's authoritarian behavior is far worse than Nixon's ever was
  • Following Trump's lead, the RNC is fully endorsing Roy Moore in Alabama
  • Robert Mueller has officially subpoenaed Donald Trump's Deutsche Bank accounts.  The subpoenas are also for other accounts from the Trump family
  • Trump is openly rooting for a Supreme Court case being argued where a bigoted baker refuses to bake wedding cakes for gay couples, pitting a bigot's version of religious freedom against everyone's personal freedom
  • Legal experts are stating Trump's rollback of National Monuments is pretty textbook illegal, and should be overturned in court.  'Should be' are the key words as Trump already has already appointed numerous Trump friendly judges
  • Aides to Trump are paranoid, feeling like they are constantly being recorded, ever since the Flynn pleas came down
  • Texas is outright calling out the Trump Administration for their failure to deliver hurricane assistance to the state
  • In a REALLY bad sign, Oliver North is openly encouraging Trump to build a brand new secret Intelligence group, not overseen by anyone but Trump himself, to be run by Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos' brother, Erik Prince, the man who ran Blackwater
  • Karen Pence, the 2nd Lady (Vice President Pence's wife), apparently finds Trump "reprehensible" and "totally vile," according to an ex-campaign aide
  • Rex Tillerson is openly defending the work he has done as Secretary of State, another sign he might be gone soon
  • Apparently wealthy GOP donors wanted to buy Trump out of the race after the Access Hollywood tape came to light.  He said the cost to do so would be $800 million.  The donors determined the price was too high
  • It seems the point person from inside the campaign who was proposing the buyout was Vice President Mike Pence
  • The European Union is warning Trump agains recognizing Jerusalem as the Israeli capital, pointing to the undeniable bloodshed the symbolic gesture would cause
  • The Organization for Islamic Cooperation has called out Trump for his "naked aggression" towards the Muslim faith
  • The Wall Street Journal, a pro Republican newspaper, is calling for Mueller to step down from his Trump probe.  The WSJ is a big supporter of Trump
  • Trump's personal attorney Jay Sekulow is once again asserting even if Trump did collude with the Russians, it is not illegal to collude with the Russians.  Actually, it definitively is
  • Apparently Trump and CIA Director Mike Pompeo are indeed considering a special secret organization of 'state police' coordinated from within the White House, run by former Blackwater CEO Erik Prince
  • Five native American tribes are formerly suing Trump over the shrinking of the National Monuments
  • Senate Banking Committee approved Trump's choice to run the Fed, Jay Powell
  • Senator Angus King stated Impeachment is an intermediate step needed before Trump could be  tried for Obstruction of Justice
  • White House Spokeswoman Kellyanne Conway says the only way Roy Moore doesn't win Alabama's Senate race is if theres a sneak attack.  By sneak attack, if she actually means his underaged victims coming forward and exposing the perv, sure
  • Former Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski told The View that he supports Trump because he "wants a killer as president." "He's Tough, he's a killer."  The hosts of The View were rightfully stunned
  • Trump's lawyers are arguing that former Apprentice contestant Summer Zervos' defamation lawsuit against Trump should be thrown out.  Their argument is that it's a political attack only, Trump's comments were only "non-actionable fiery rhetoric," and considering his position, he can't be held accountable
  • Only 25% of young millennials approve of Trump, and his numbers among young Republicans are down 12%
  • A Trump Impeachment vote will happen on the House floor on Wednesday
  • Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke has apparently already suggested four other National Monuments to carve up to the highest corporate opportunist.  Aside from the Bear Ears and Grans Staircase-Escalante National Monuments going to mining and drilling interests, Cascade-Siskiyou in OR/CA, Gold Butte in Nevada, the Pacific Remote Islands and the Rose Atoll, National Monuments/National Marine Monuments will all be dramatically carved away
  • The Senate has confirmed that KT McFarland's nomination to be Ambassador to Singapore is permanently on hold due to her lies on Russia, lies which were exposed with the Flynn guilty plea
  • Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was questioned about her statements a few weeks back that the Mueller probe is on the verge of being wrapped up. Confronted with he reality the probe is going strong, she doubled down, insisting the probe would be finished soon
  • Sanders then stammered her way like an idiot around the question of whether the White House truly does believe a Democrat is worse than a person who sexually assaulted a teen.  Watching Sanders flail on that one was interesting, with her eventually insisting those are two non comparable things (tell Moore's supporters that) and that Trump is only looking for 'yes votes' for his agenda
  • Republican Senator Jeff Flake directly thumbed his nose at Trump and gave money to Roy Moore's challenger in Alabama, Democrat Doug Jones.  He commented 'country over party'
  • More and more evidence is pointing to the Trump transition team colluding with a second country to undermine President Obama.  The Flynn guilty plea also exposed Flynn was working with the Israelis during the transition to help them build their (arguably illegal) settlements in Palestinian territories.  This involvement directly went against President Obama's stance the settlements we're not to be built.  Both The Intercept and The Nation reported on the illegal contact
  • Trump's lawyers are REALLY desperate to get the defamation case against him from the former Apprentice contestant dismissed.  They're arguing the judge in the case (in New York State) has no jurisdiction over Trump, hence the case should be tossed.  Putting aside the fact the jurisdiction has to to with the victim and where the crime happened, not the defendant's location, Trump is from New York and still maintains residences there, so problem solved!
  • The Lawyers for the plaintiff in the defamation case, Summer Zervos, say they'll make it easy on Trump, and depose him at Mar-A-Lago, considering he's there so often
  • Natalia Veselnitskaya, the lawyer Donald Trump Jr. (Tweedle Dee) met with in Trump Tower during the campaign, told the Senate Judiciary Committee that Trump Jr. asked for intelligence on "illegal donations" to the Clinton Campaign.  She informed him there was no such information
  • Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, the man who oversees the FBI, had a lukewarm defense of the agency after Trump called them all rotten. Put into the spot between a rock and a hard place, Rosenstein backed up the FBI, but was a little short of a full throated, spirited defense
  • Trump's replacement to be Homeland Security Secretary, Kirstjen Nielsen, was confirmed by the Senate.  She was John Kelly's deputy and is filling the vacancy left open after Kelly became the Secretary of State
  • In something which will give Trump fits of anger, former President Obama has three tweets on the list of nine most retweeted posts of 2017.  Trump - Zero!
  • Protestors have descended on Capitol Hill to show their disgust with the Trump Tax Bill
  • A poll in Texas shows most residents feel negatively about Trump's response to their hurricane disaster
  • Human hemorrhoid Newt Gingrich is running a new defense of Trump up the flagpole to see if it flies.  He's implying Michael Flynn was set up by the pro-Hillary FBI. Remember, it's not if the laughable allegation is real.  It's wether the dupes who want it to be real believe it
  • The war between Trump and Mitt Romney, in an attempt to stop Romney from winning Orrin Hatch's Senate seat in Utah, has begun, although with an incredible misfire.  Steve Bannon, former Senior Presidential Advisor, says Romney, who had religion deferment from the Vietnam War, was a draft dodger.  This seems to overlook Donny Bonespurs (Trump), who ran from military service with a dubious medical malady
  • After a former aide for Vice President Mike Pence's wife stated she thought Trump was a disgusting human, Trump apparently is firing back.  According to Newsweek Trump thinks very little of the Pence's.  When he found out they brought some of their pets with them to DC, an adviser quoted Trump by saying "he thought it was low class.  The thinks the Pence's are yokels."
  • Former President Obama criticized Trump's current environmental policies.  He stated the US is in an unusual time over the Paris Climate Accord.  "Obviously we are in an unusual time when the United States is now the only nation on earth that does not belong to the Paris Agreement."
  • Trump, a man who has a horrific Civil Rights record, and backed up the racists, KKK, Nazis and White Supremacists in Charlottesville, will attend Mississippi's opening ceremony for the state's Civil Rights Museum
  • Under Trump, homeless rates are increasing
  • It what appears to be a complete abandoning of the Middle East Peace process, Trump officially will insist Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel, likely setting up decades of violence in the region
  • Many Republican voters seem to be shocked when they're made aware the Trump tax bill will remove their mortgage interest deduction, state taxes deductions and property tax deductions
  • Both CNN and MSNBC point to the timeline of known events to prove Vice President Mike Pence is in serious legal jeopardy when it comes to the Flynn guilty plea.  It's clear he's been lying
  • Trump did not make Time Magazine person of the year.  The #MeToo Movement won
  • Rex Tillerson, Secretary of State, once again stated there is no truth to the reports the White House plans on replacing him with CIA Chief Mike Pompeo
  • White House Spokeswoman Kellyanne Conway sputtered through another interview where she tried to defend Trump's endorsement of Roy Moore in Alabama, without admitting they were actually endorsing Roy Moore in Alabama
  • Former Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski trashed the Trump kids, Don Jr. (Tweedle Dee) and Eric (Tweedle Dum), and First Daughter and White House staffer doing...something(?) Ivanka Trump, for hiring a clearly flawed Paul Manafort
  • The trial of the Turkish gold trader Reza Zarrab seems to be pointing to involvement from Trump and the White House.  Zarrab's offering evidence on his dealings, to complicated and detailed to define here, but there are definite connections to the Trump Administration, even a possible demand for a prisoner exchange from the Turks.  This trial might be also the source for Mueller's Deutsche Bank subpoenas of Trump's accounts
  • Well it's unanimous, outside of one country.  Everyone but Israel is condemning Trump's decision to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem.  All Middle Eastern countries are condemning it, especially Palestine.  All European countries are equally critical
  • Even the Pope has openly questioning Trump's Jerusalem decision.  He called Trump's action a historic misstep and how it will incite violence.  "I cannot silence my deep concern over the situation..."
  • The 8th Annual American Values Survey states most Republicans are willing to overlook Trump breaking the law, as long as it "fixes" the things they feel need to be fixed
  • Trump's billionaire friends who are looking to stay in touch with Trump, but not directly, are going through First Lady Melania Trump, to avoid scrutiny
  • On Inauguration Day, as Trump was at the podium, Former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn texted a former business partner that the Middle Eastern nuclear Power project, which required lifting sanctions on Russia imposed by Former President Obama, was good to go.  The business partner, Alex Copson, was told by Flynn the sanctions would be "ripped up"
  • Trump is warning of a government shutdown, as negotiations are set to begin between Congressional leaders and himself.  He also attacked the Democratic leaders he's getting ready to meet with, again
  • Attorney General Jeff Sessions is calling for a 'efficient review' of the country's backlog of immigration cases, in an effort to expedite them faster.  These are cases where many of the potential deportees are not given proper legal representation already, so fast tracking them will likely cause more injustice
  • Apparently a lot of Evangelical Christians are applauding Trump's Jerusalem decision because  they think it will bring about the apocalypse sooner
  • Donald Trump Jr. (Tweedle Dee) insisted to the House Intelligence Committee he did not speak directly to his father about his response to media reports of his 2016 Trump Tower meeting with the Russians.  He stated he had only talked with Hope Hicks about it, at that point a Senior White House Aide.  Jr. insisted the train wreck of a response was written by himself
  • Jr. also invoked attorney-client privilege multiple times to prevent from answering what exactly he and his father talked about in the post-Trump Tower revelation meeting.  He said lawyers were present when he and his dad were talking.  What this braintrust just admitted was there were other people in the room, meaning eventually they might be compelled to testify what they remember from those meetings. This also suggests he was lying the to House Intel Committee about only talking to Hope Hicks
  • People are questioning the extent of Trump's dentures, as it seems there was a major slippage issue during the speech Trump had about moving the US Embassy in Israel.  Towards the end of his speech, his speech became extremely slurred and 'thick.'  Dental experts say he might've worn away his teeth with his insane demand to replace his 10-20 year veneers every 6 months.  For the record, I PRAY this was dentures, because it looked like a man who was having extreme mental issues
  • The person who pushed Trump to formally move the Israeli Embassy was Presidential Advisor and Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner, meaning if this fails, Kushner will be the one to take the fall
  • The Secretary of Veteran's Affairs David Shulkin, two days after he committed to helping homeless veterans, called for a dramatic cut back of a program which is designed to deal with homeless vets

  • Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn doesn't want to represent Trump at the upcoming Winter Olympic Games
  • The UN Security Council has called for an emergency meeting due to Trump's Jerusalem decision
  • It should also be noted as he has sent that region into chaos, Trump hasn't even formally announced potential Ambassadors for many countries in the Middle East
  • Reminder:  Republican voters instead Trump would be beloved worldwide, far more than President Obama.  That is definitively not true at this point
  • Legal experts are stating Jr.'s (Dee's) use of 'Father/Client' proivledge is absolute garbage, and the special council would never accept it
  • Trump's US Fish and Wildlife service wants to make it easier to kill all the bears in Yellowstone
  • Wednesday, Erik Prince, bother of Secretary of Education, founder of the evil Blackwater Corporation, and person who is lobbying to create a special Trump secret police force, testified to the House Intelligence Committee about his meeting with the Russians in the Seychelles.  He stated he discussed US/Russian relations but at no point did he bring up sanctions
  • Prince also met with Rep. Devin Nunes to discuss an investigation into unmasking Americans who were caught up in routine US surveillance of Russians.  This was after Nunes was supposed removed himself from any Russian investigation
  • Democrats are now asking Kushner to explain his finances with foreign officials, and if he ever approached them to finance the deeply in debt Kushner Company properties in Manhattan
  • During the anti-gay wedding cake case in front of the Supreme Court, the Trump Administration's argued the KKK is a protected class.  They used the 'an African American man should not be forced to bake a cake for the KKK' line of argument, without pointing out one of the many differences between the GLBTQ community and the KKK is the KKK is not a protected class of individuals
  • As Trump and the White House claim they are not campaigning for Roy More in Alabama, Presidential daughter in law Lara Trump, a Presidential aide, is doing robo-calls for Moore

  • UN Ambassador Nikki Haley surprised many people by being the first Administration official to suggest the US would not be sending their athletes to the Olympic games in South Korea
  • Even though ObamaCare signups are still going for little more than a week, people looking for health insurance for individuals with serious medical problems are finding slim picking, due to Trump's/the GOP's limiting of options
  • A historian claims he's stunned by the amount of wealth the 'grifting' Trump family has amassed in the first year of the Trump Administration
  • Former Trump Advisor Chris Christie says the reason he was dumped by Trump is because of his vehement insistence the Trump Administration to not hire Michael Flynn
  • Current FBI Director Christopher Wray is scheduled to testify to the House Judiciary Committee, mainly about the made up accusations involving Hillary Clinton, and why the FBI hasn't prosecuted her yet
  • Trump has screwed up commemorating Pearl Harbor Day.  He tried to quote FDR, but instead of "A date which will live in infamy," Trump wrote "a date that will live in infamy."  To those thinking I'm getting nitpick-y, imagine the reaction if a Democratic President misquoted Reagan's 'tear down this wall' speech
  • Hamas has called for a Palestinian uprising in response to Trump's decision to abandon the Middle East Peace process

  • Right Wing Christian Activist and attorney Mat Staver, a major Trump fan, made up a story about rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z being an avowed Satanist
  • Donald Trump Jr. (Tweedle Dee), in one of the most self unaware statements ever, had the audacity to rip on Senator Al Franken after Franken announced his resignation due to allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior.  Franken had 5 allegations against him (not including anonymous ones).  Jr.'s dad Trump has 19
  • Julian Ass-ange of Wikileaks is facing multiple investigations in the US, including three Congressional probes and a Criminal Inquiry over their role in helping Trump steal the 2016 election
  • Internal Department of Justice videos show Attorney General Jeff Sessions getting quite testy with DOJ interns who were challenging him on the Department's stances on police brutality and legal marijuana use
  • An apparent secret war is waging inside the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, as staff resistant to Trump's installed leader Mick Mulvaney are working behind the scenes to undermine his authority.  They're calling themselves Dumbledore's Army, after the Harry Potter group.  On Wednesday, a conservative front group tried to put an end to this uprising by demanding a FOIA accounting of all the CFPB devices with encrypted messaging applications.  The narcs are also demanding all communications which involve "Dumbledore, Dumbledore's Army, Snape, Voldemort and 'He-who-shall-not-be-named'"
  • Press Secretary Sanders opens a press beefing with a Christmas story.  Her story included "...that's the greatest gift of all, that a savior was born."  Clearly blurring the lines between separation of church and state, at no point did Sanders seem to be concerned the story might be going out to any non-Christians, forcing them to sit through a Christian story to do their job
  • Sanders once again flopped around like a dying carp as she tried to avoid answering the question when exactly Trump learned that Flynn had lied to the FBI
  • Trump's tribute to World War II veterans on Pearl Harbor Day went as most of his salutes to the troops go.  He took a swipe at former President Obama, insisting he left the military depleted, before bragging the military was being built up bigger than ever.  He then described the tragedy of the Japanese sneak attack on Pearl Harbor as a "pretty wild scene"
  • As goes her husband.  Melania Trump also made a mistake recognizing Pearl Harbor Day.  It was a simple misprint of 11/7/41, verses 12/7/41, but for a White House who claims they're 'detail oriented'...
  • Donald Trump Jr. is a complete moron.  After swearing he never followed up with anyone after the meeting with the Russians in Trump Tower, it's now been revealed through e-mails he did indeed follow up, multiple times, on the Trump Tower meeting
  • One of the follow up e-mails involving Jr. (Dee) was a forwarded news story a few days after the meeting about Russia hacking the DNC.  Jr. called the e-mail "eerily weird" considering the topic they'd discussed with the Russians a few days beforehand
  • Sad news as Vice President Mike Pence's cat, Pickle, died.  This is the second animal of his which has passed away since he came to DC.  Six months ago, the cat Oreo died.  Don't tell me the Republicans wouldn't be talking about this if it was a Democratic Vice President
  • Trump repeatedly asked a business associate if he could consider Amazon a monopoly, apparently with the intent on trying to break the company up. When he was told they weren't just very successful, Trump asked again.  Trump apparently hates Amazon an their CEO Jeff Bezos
  • Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke spent $14K in taxpayer money to take helicopter rides to events near DC, events he could've easily driven to

  • Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is confident other countries will follow America's lead and move their Embassies to Jerusalem, as massive protests emerge from the Palestinians in the region
  • The latest poll numbers are out and Trump has dropped to a new low, 32%.  As a matter of fact, favoring in margin of error, for every one person who approves of Trump (that doesn't mean 'likes,' just 'approves') TWO people disapprove of him (63%, but factoring in MOE...)
  • Freaking finally!  Trump's support among Evangelicals is starting to drop.  Trump's popularity with whites, including white men, is also starting to decline
  • Melania Trump does have a positive approval rating, 53%, but it pales in comparison to Michelle Obama's 68% approval rating
  • Trump Campaign staffer George Papadopolous, the guy who has already plead guilty to the Mueller probe, apparently has tons of emails proving he's no lowly coffee boy.  Simone Mangiante, his fiancĂ©, says he has tons of emails from Bannon and Flynn, as he personally set up many international meetings for the campaign.  The Mueller probe has asked her to not release the emails to the public
  • The review of Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke's latest abuse of taxpayer dollars has shown the helicopter flights he took were to an easily accessible by road airport, and he spent $6200 on a helicopter to Yorktown, Virginia to ensure he would be on time to a horseback riding foursome with Vice President Mike Pence
  • The White House is scrambling to refocus Trump after he let it slip over the weekend he might consider raising the corporate tax rate from the 20% proposed, to 22%, to help offset some of the massive tax breaks to the wealthy.  Republicans are frantically trying to insist 20% is an unbendable standard
  • Apparently Trump, Jr. (Tweedle Dee) and others in the Trump organization, received an email in September of 2016 offering a decryption key and website for hacked Wikileaks documents.  The Trump team is insisting it was random spam, but that doesn't sound random. And, for the record, they all were just caught lying again
  • Trump held the White House official Hanukkah celebration five days before Hanukkah officially begins, ahead of him jetting down to Mar-A-Lago for the weekend.  Trump mocked former President Obama for doing the exact same thing when he was president, twice
  • Trump failed to invite ANY Democratic Jewish lawmakers to the White House's Hanukkah celebration
  • It's pointed out Trump's tax bill removes tax benefits for victims of earthquakes and wildfires, a direct attack on California.  Funny, many California Republicans actually approved that element of the bill

  • The State Department announces they have begun fully implementing Trump's bigoted travel ban

  • Earlier this year, the FBI, concerned about emails White House Communications Director Hope Hicks received shortly after Trump won, and concerned about the Russians continued attempts to contact her during the transition, gave her a 'defensive briefing,' specifically warning her about specific Russians, and how they were not telling the truth.  No word on whether she did communicate with any of the Russians afterwards
  • Trump bragged on Twitter about his poll numbers, but must have read a different version of the results.  The poll he quoted showed only 23% of the people surveyed thought he was doing a great job.  Overall, Trump's approval rate is 37% on average, with 56% disapproval, on average
  • Robert Mueller unveiled the undeniable evidence Paul Manafort violated the terms of his bail when he partook in drafting a defensive op-ed piece with a Russian.  Mueller is trying to get Manafort's bail revoked
  • The Supreme Court has ruled Trump does not have to turn over documents concerning his decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Act (DACA, The Dreamers Act) as they'd been requested in certain lawsuits challenging the legality of Trump's decision
  • Apparently Trump hates Mitt Romney so much he actually asked the chair of the RNC, Ronna Romney McDaniel to remove the 'Romney' from her name.  Ronna is indeed related to Mitt.  She's his niece.  She refused Trump's request
  • At least two people are dead in the protest uprising in Gaza, as Palestinians are furious at Trump's decision to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem

  • At his rally in Florida, Trump attacked CNN, again, and also stated that ABC should fire a reporter Brian Ross for reporting falsely that Trump ordered Flynn to contact the Russians. My guess is Ross was about two months ahead of that story being true
  • After The White House said Trump's Florida trip was not about Roy Moore, Trump spent time encouraging the people of Alabama to vote for Moore
  • Trump also called into question Roy Moore's accusers
  • Trump talked more about Hillary Clinton than any other subject at his rally in Pensacola Florida.  It has been well over a year since the election, and there's no strong evidence to justify his continued hounding of her
  • Trump's immediately ridiculed for starting a chant of 'Lock Her Up' at his Florida rally, desperately trying to focus the attention on fading into the distance Hillary Clinton, as his own Administration is likely going to see multiple people 'Locked up'
  • Trump claims his Pensacola rally was "packed to the rafters." It wasn't as empty as initial reports stated, but there were more than a few empty seats

  • North Korea calls Trump a 'dotard' for his decision to move the US Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.  Insults aside, when North Korea has a more measured foreign policy, that tells you a lot about Trump
  • First Daughter and White House staffer doing...something(?) Ivanka Trump touts the lowest ever unemployment rate for Hispanics in the US.  She's actually telling the truth, but 1) a lot of that has to do with former President Obama, and 2) it ignores the Trump administrations policies towards Hispanics, making it seem like Trump embraces them.  He doesn't
  • Trump spends 4 to 8 hours PER DAY watching television, mainly cable news.  This alone would be cause for Republicans to immediately remove a Democratic President from office
  • Even with a very under control Legislative Branch at his disposal, Trump doesn't seem to understand he's not an ultimate power.  We've heard how he barked orders at Senator Bob Corker, only to have Corker say, "I don't work for you." During a discussion on health care, he was told directly by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell "Don't interrupt me."
  • Even though Trump does have a close attachment to Fox News Host Jeanine Pirro, Trump apparently does have his limits with her.  After granting her a meeting with himself, Chief of Staff John Kelly and White House Counsel Don McGahn (which itself is extraordinary), Pirro spent the time rallying against Hillary Clinton, Robert Mueller and former FBI Director James Comey, spewing right wing talking points and insisting FAR harsher tactics be taken with all three.  Kelly told her "you're not helping things." Even Trump got tired of her rant, and walked out on her
  • Trump apparently mocked Democrats in a meeting with four Democratic lawmakers.  He said, "who is going to run against me in 2020?  Crooked Hillary?  Pocahontas?" He then went on to mock an elderly Bernie Sanders in a wheelchair, even doing an impression of an elderly  scrunched up body.  There's so much in that one statement, but let's go with the clear pattern Trump has of mocking and making fun of people with physical limitations
  • Trump is actually recording a robo-call for alleged child sex abuser and world class pervert Roy Moore
  • Secretary of State Rex Tillerson did not have a good week.  He has in the middle of a European tour when Trump made his US Embassy to Jerusalem speech, and Tillerson ended up getting an earful from all the countries he met with.  Reminder:  Trump insisted world leaders would respect him FAR more than they respected President Obama
  • The two indictees, Paul Manafort and Rick Gates had e-mails exposed which show after Manafort was released from the Trump campaign, they made a strategy to try to conceal their Russian connections by colluding to hide any contacts Manafort had with the Russians.  The narrative they were going to pursue was to portray themselves as only concerned with Ukrainian issues
  • Fans of Trump's border wall attacked immigration activists near San Diego, using flagpoles as batons to beat the immigration activists.  In some cases, immigration activists were actually getting beaten with flag poles with a US flag on them
  • Elizabeth Shackelford, a rising diplomat in the State Department has resigned her position, but not before leveling a brutal takedown of Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, criticizing him for undoing decades of work senior diplomats have cultivated in mere months, and destroying the US's reputation around the world.  "I would humbly recommend you follow me out the door."
  • I know another Trump official who is not going to get a Christmas card.  UN Ambassador Nikki Haley states all women accusers should be heard, and not dismissed, including if they are accusing Trump

  • The threshold of making suggestion and partaking in a conspiracy are being tested, as Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein states Fox News hosts who know Trump are watching, and who are getting private meetings with Trump, could actually be labeled co-conspirators in a criminal cover up to get Mueller removed from the Russia/Trump investigation

  • Trump at the Civil Rights museum opening praised many voting rights leaders, as his campaign is trying to dramatically limit voting rights in the the US
  • Energy Fuels Resources, a uranium company, lobbied Trump hard to get him to dramatically reduce the size of Bear Ears National Monument.  Apparently Bear Ears sits on top of sweet, sweet uranium, something Trump deemed too valuable to leave unscathed
  • NFL players once again knelt during the National Anthem to protest racial injustice in the US, and to protest Trump himself

The tide is turning.  Doug Jones won in Alabama!  Wow, a Democratic Senator from Alabama. This is the effort we need to see in EVERY freaking race for 2018!  Remember #2018IsEverything!  Ask yourself the question:  'Are you happy with winning one temporary Senate seat, or do you want the entire Congress back in the hands of the Democrats?'  Take a day to enjoy the victory and then double your efforts!

A quick note.  I will be doing a Week 48 list, but after that, I'm going to take a break.  I'll put out a combined Week, 49, 50 and 51 list in early January, but I'm going to take some family time for the holidays.

Be diligent!  Be hopeful!
