The reminder: if a Democratic President and Administration had done any of these things, Republicans would've AT LEAST held a scornful news conference. Many of these points would've automatically triggered official Congressional investigations, some would've lead to special prosecutors, and, WITHOUT A DOUBT, some would've lead to gleeful Republicans calling for impeachment proceedings to begin. Instead, most Republicans, who knowingly ordered this 'all you can eat' crap sandwich fest, continue to silently bite into their meal. They could stop eating at any moment, but instead they, as it dribbles down their chin, reluctantly take another bite of something they know isn't edible, digestible or consumable.
Get ready to feast! It's a full buffet this week!

What the organizers didn't explain was there seems to have been zero intent to hold a week of events. The entire exercise was to just try to catch UC Berkeley trying to stop their freedom of speech, but when a sincere UC Berkeley went out of their way to ensure the far right event was to happen, the organizers, not anticipating holding an actual rally, panicked and ran away. The lack of intent was exposed via emails from one of the organizers to UC Berkeley, emails which have been made public

- This latest North Korea story does present the question of whether or not Trump was the decider behind Tillerson's latest efforts to restore diplomacy with North Korea. If Trump didn't okay it, then who did?
- After Trump ordered the NFL players to not engage in their Freedom of Speech and Freedom to Protest, NFL players disregarded him and knelt for the National Anthem again
- White House Budget Director Mick Mulvaney was taken to task by Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday, who pointed out the Administration had broken their promise stating the wealthy wouldn't be the recipients of major tax cuts, which they certainly are in the latest tax bill. Then Wallace scolded Mulvaney for the disproven Conservative fiscal argument that tax cuts pay for themselves, which they don't
- Military people are apparently on the ground in Puerto Rico and have not yet received any orders on what exactly they should do
- In another Twitter temper tantrum Trump is now referring to the Mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Carmen Yulín Cruz, as an "ingrate"
- Another weekend, another protest march. This time it was the March for Racial Justice and the March for Black Women. Thousands showed up in D.C.
- Leaders from both parties have told Trump to stop whining and making a scene, and to help Puerto Rico
- In what is a surprising but not surprising move by Trump, in September, he apparently told senior aides to describe him to South Korean leaders as erratic and unpredictable, being "so crazy" he might pull out of longstanding US-Korean deals. He wanted his aides to describe him to the leader of another country as "crazy," like a manager at a mattress sale who might give him a deal, because sometimes 'he goes crazy!'
- It's pointed out the White House Office of Science and Technology (OSTP) has been without a boss (the presidential science advisor) for the longest stretch since 1976, and no one seems to know why the hold up is in place
- A Trump tweet implies he doesn't know the history of North Korea, stating North Korea has been like this for only 25 years. 1976 is really the beginning of the modern North Korea. Kim Jung-Un has only been in power since 2011. Kim Jung-Il came to power 23 years ago, but died in the aforementioned 2011...???
- Puerto Rico, an island which needs food, medicine, electricity, and has 55% of their people without water, had Trump, who instead of doing the job he campaigned for, spent his time at a PGA tournament this weekend, dedicating a professional golf tournament trophy to them. No seriously. Nothing else, just the trophy
- Trump's FEMA Administrator Brock Long accused Mayor of San Juan, Carmen Yulín Cruz, of spouting off, not appreciating all FEMA is doing for Puerto Rico, and of not helping FEMA on the ground. When asked to follow up on the allegation Cruz was not helping FEMA, he deflected away
At this point, any Republican who isn't vocally screaming their disgust needs to be labeled correctly: "Part of the problem!" They are tolerating this incompetency, shaking their heads quietly hoping it conveys just enough disgust so they can run next year as someone who's "been disappointed in what Trump has done," while at the same time cheering the dismantling of our energy policy, education system, national parks, foreign policy, transportation system, housing and urban development, government assistance programs, emergency management systems, going after African Americans, going after Latinos, installing a massive tax handout to the wealthy the rest of us are going to pay for, dismantling health insurance, and possibly starting a war or two.
All Republicans are, for the most part, fully endorsing what Trump's doing in Washington DC.
What's done is done, but to prevent Trump from being able to do this for a full term (it's clear the GOP money people are prepping Pence to be the candidate in 2020), #2018IsEverything! If the Democrats can take back the House and/or Senate, not only does all of the evidence against Trump, in regards to Russia, NOT disappear, (which it will if the GOP is in charge for two more years) but then the Democrats, if they have any competency at all, can spend two years publicly rubbing the GOP's faces in the Trump mess they silently endorsed, opening the door for a monster 2020.
Make sure you get five people to the polls on election day in 2018. Thank you!
